My career began at SLAM Magazine, a dream first job that allowed me to merge my love for design and the game. As Lead Digital Designer, I played a key role in shaping the digital culture of basketball, creating work that resonated with fans and even some.
At SLAM, I crafted a wide range of digital assets, including web banners, viral social media content, animated title cards, editorial launch graphics, merchandise promotions, email campaigns, and logos for new content series. I also contributed to the launch of SLAM’s women’s basketball, gaming, and college athletics platforms, expanding the brand’s presence across new audiences.

In 2018, my first year at SLAM, the video team was in the early stages of buliding and staffing their team. At the time, there was no Motion Graphics specialist in the company and knew motion graphics would elevate our content. I began learning Adobe After Effects in my spare time. I took my skills a step further by earning a Motion Graphics Certificate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2019. I implemented animations into our content ecosystem daily. In 2020, COVID-19 caused a huge spike in digital content world, and my investment in motion graphics helped the company secure paid content series from brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Ebay, and more.
